Altar Servers - Len Fiegl

Altar Servers work with the priest and others to make the liturgical celebration (sacrifice of the Mass) as reverent and focused as possible. They do this by performing the duties with dignity, reflecting the true presence of Christ at the Mass.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion - Ruth Nawotniak

Eucharistic Ministers assist the clergy in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist at scheduled Masses. This ministry is open to all confirmed members of the parish. Please note that formal training is required.

Holy Name Society - Larry Ricigliano

The Holy Name Society is an organization whose objectives are to foster reverence and love for the Holy Name of God and Jesus Christ; to defend the name of Jesus for being used in blasphemy, perjury, profanity and obscene speech. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month (Sept - May) beginning with a service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel, a business meeting following at 7:15 p.m and a social after the meeting. The Holy Name sponsors bi-annual pancake breakfasts, awards and scholarships; provides support and equipment/resources for the Religious Education and Youth Ministry and facilitates a wide variety of parish projects for the pastor. Ladies of Charity - Kelly Rummings

The Ladies of Charity conduct monthly food collections (4th Sunday) and distribution to needy families in the parish; purchase and wrapping of Christmas gifts for inner city children; preparation of Baptismal bibs; Easter baskets for needy; Baby Shower for needy newborns. The Ladies of Charity were founded by St. Vincent de Paul in 1617 with the motto "to serve rather than to be served." The Ladies of Charity serve the spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, and financially poor.

Lectors - Jude Schwendler

Lectors proclaim the readings and Prayers of the Faithful at Mass. Individuals with strong and clear voices are encouraged to volunteer. Through study and prayer, the Lector develops an understanding of the Word of God and its importance in our celebration of faith.

Ministry to the Homebound - Jim McGraw

Ministry to the Sick

The Ministry to the Sick provides emotional and spiritual support to members of the parish who are suffering from short or long term illnesses and/or disabilities which prevent them from coming to Church, participating at Mass and/or receiving the Sacraments. Home visits are available on a weekly basis to parishioners residing in their own homes, apartments, hospitals, nursing homes, or hospice. The Eucharist is provided upon request. All parishioners with short or long term illnesses and/or disabilities, which prevent them from coming to Church, participating at Mass and/or receiving the Sacraments are eligible for help. Queen of Peace Healing Ministry

Queen of Peace Healing Ministry is committed to praying with those in need of God's healing and peace. The ministry is based here at St. Pius X. The fruits of this ministry have been reflected in many reported spiritual, physical and emotional healings and the ever present gifts of the Holy Spirit, including His special gift of inner peace received by almost all. At all Queen of Peace healing services a priest is available to hear confessions before mass. Each healing service is preceded by the recitation of the Rosary.
